Duration: 24 hours Course introduction: This new version of ITIL contains a lot of new and changed concepts, principles, models and processes. Three days are needed to provide a good quality course which directly and fully connects with ITIL and to increase your success ratio of the exam. Take into account that the previous version of ITIL (Service Management) consisted of two books to cover the theory. Nowadays five books are needed to describe the added value and use of Service Management. Goal: After this course the attendee knows and understands: • The importance of IT Services and managing IT Infrastructure for the Business and how delivering IT Services will add and create value for the business; • Services, Organisations and process way of working; • The ‘IT Service Life cycle’; • The Key Concepts, principles, models and processes within the several phases of the ‘IT Service Life cycle’ (Service Strategy, Service Design, Service Transition, Service Operations and Continuous Service Improvement); • Integration with and reference to other standards or ‘best practices’ in the market; • Functions and Roles; Target group: The Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management is intended for employees involved in the IT Service Management or IT Service Operation, who are required to understand the working processes that are defined as a component of IT Service Management. Like IT Support Staff, IT Consultants, Key Business Users, IT Developers. Prerequisite knowledge and skills: Basic (preferably good) knowledge of automation, IT and IT Infrastructure Management. |
